When it comes to planning your wedding or special event, you want to be sure that you don't to exceed your budget. A very good way to not exceed your budget is to do some things for yourself. A good do-it-yourself project is to make your own floating candle table centerpieces. It is easy to do. Just follow the step-by-step instructions below.

Things you will need to buy at your local crafts store are: medium-size glass bowls, beautiful glass pebbles or stones, and silk rose petals. You will also need large floating candles of your choice. Click here to shop for the candles you will need. Aromaway Candles offers a huge variety of floating candles of all shapes and colors.

  1. Arrange the glass pebbles or stones in the bottom of the glass bowl until they completely cover the bottom;
  2. Place the bowl on the respective table and fill the bowl with water about half-way;
  3. Gently place the floating candles on the water. Don't overcrowd.
  4. Sprinkle the silk petals around the base of the bowl.
  5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 until you have made all your centerpieces. Light the candles just before the event.
For a wedding, try mixing floating heart candles and rose floating candles. They make a lovely centerpiece.

There now, didn't you do a great job! It looks lovely!
